Principal’s Message

Dear Knights Point K-8 Families,

We have officially wrapped up Quarter 1, and I want to thank our students, staff, and families for the hard work and partnership that have helped us begin the year strong. As we enter Quarter 2, we remain focused on one goal: helping every student grow and reach their full potential.

This quarter, we are continuing to emphasize three things that make a significant difference in student success: attendance, academics, and behavior.

Every Day Counts

Being at school every day and arriving on time is one of the most important things students can do to be successful. Missed instructional minutes quickly add up and can impact a student's academic progress. We ask families to make attendance a priority and establish routines that help students arrive ready to learn each day.

Know the Data. Know the Goal.

We want every student to understand where they are academically, where they need to go, and what they need to do to get there. During Quarter 2, our teachers will continue using student data to identify areas of need, provide targeted instruction, monitor progress, and adjust instruction when necessary. Parents can also play an important role by regularly checking grades through the Parent Portal, talking with your child about their progress, and communicating with teachers when concerns arise.

Growing Together

Quarter 2 is about growth, progress, and making great choices each day. We want our students to recognize their strengths, learn from their challenges, and continue building the habits that lead to success.

We encourage families to celebrate effort, responsibility, perseverance, and positive choices at home. When students know that their choices matter and that the adults around them believe in them, they are more likely to take ownership of their learning and their success.

At Knights Point, we will continue creating a school environment where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.
