Principal’s Message
Dear Knights Point Families, Students, and Community Members,
As we begin the fourth quarter, we enter the final stretch of the school year at Knights Point. This is a time when the hard work of our students and staff truly comes together. Classrooms remain focused, expectations remain high, and we continue pushing forward to ensure every student finishes the year strong.
Our students have already shown tremendous growth this year, and the fourth quarter provides an opportunity for them to demonstrate all they have learned. Instruction remains rigorous, engaging, and aligned to the high standards we set for teaching and learning at Knights Point. Our teachers are committed to providing meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, collaborate, and apply their knowledge.
As always, attendance plays a critical role in student success. Each day of instruction matters, especially as we approach the end of the year. We ask families to continue emphasizing the importance of being at school every day, arriving on time, and staying engaged in learning.
The strength of Knights Point comes from the partnership between our students, staff, and families. Together, we create a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their best. I am incredibly proud of the work happening in our classrooms each day and grateful for the continued support from our school community.
Let’s work together to make the final quarter of the year our strongest yet.
Thank you for being an important part of the Knights Point community.
With pride and commitment,
Nathan DeRight
Principal, Knights Point K-8
